Carousel; the merry-go-round

A figure in which the man places the lady on one foot with a lifting action of his frame and then dances around her while keeping her centered over, and pivoting on, her supporting leg. A term used for molinete con sacadas to the man's left, the lady's right, with an ocho and/or ocho cortado to exit.

A.k.a the stork - calecita - carrousel - caroussel

Not only is it pretty but it's great for getting you out of those congested floor situations - also I recently discovered it's really great for bad-floor or stage situations (i.e. stages that are uneven, slippery and have protruding nails everywhere) - making change of direction easier to execute when trying to avoid such obstacles on the bad floor.
