The Bite - a.k.a. sandwich
One partner's foot is sandwiched or trapped between the other partner's feet.
If the other partner's feet are also crossed it may be referred to as reverse mordida.

Typical usage: right after an ocho atras when the follower steps back with the RF (right foot), the leader stops her by keeping his right arm closer, slides his RF against her LF, steps forward and puts his LF against her LF on the other side (the foot is 'sandwiched').The leader then steps back with his RF, and lets the Follower step over his left leg (ocho adelante with optional golpecitos or another adorno.
